During September 2012, Higuera Studios had the pleasure to receive the visit of an important team of unity. It was an honor received in the studios to Elliot Solomon - Vice President North America Video gaming at Unity Technologies, Jay Santos Unity Field Engineer - Latin America, Ricardo Arango - Colombian-British QA Engineer of Unity and Leonardo Lamprea - CFO and CSO of Naska Digital in Colombia and President of SOMOS.
During march 2012, H3 was present at the GDC Europe. During the event, H3 received a development kit from hand of one of the executives of BlackBerry together with a PlayBook device, enrolling this way to H3 in a developers program.
Higuera Studios gets the first position in the CODESA challenge. CODESA is a Colombian company focus in provided high end technologies for gambling, secure connection and gateways for alternative payments.
The contest involves the conception and development of a different and engaging gambling application. Higuera Studios was part of this challenge developing in two weeks an application base in physics and 3D graphics, where the game play was really fast and engaging.
For all of us is a real pleasure of been part of such event.
We were there meeting people, sharing the launch event of some games and programs, also we were behind the GameJam Campus Party 2012 and a Workshop of Game Development base on Unity Engine.
