13 years teaching in the Main Universities of the Country.

For more than a decade, the founders of Higuera Studios have been sharing their knowledge by giving lectures to young people from the main universities such as La Javeriana, La Universidad Nacional, and La Universidad de La Sabana, among others. "Cultivating new talents for the digital industry from Colombia to the world."

In the last 13 years, members of the studio have been involved in promoting and evangelizing the local industry for the development of interactive content, video games and edutainment. 

As part of this purpose, some of its members have had the opportunity to transfer knowledge to the academy. through specialized courses at nationally renowned universities in the city of Bogotá, both in undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

These universities have taken the lead in preparing future talent for the industry, and through these institutions, we have been able to attract some of our most capable talents into the studio, through open internships in different areas for the most passionate students.

We have taught different courses for 13 years and now, with the idea of ​​dividing time between the South American and North American offices, we are promoting chairs, virtual or distance classrooms, wanting to be pioneers in widely developing this concept of Education through virtual scenarios in Colombia and from anywhere in the world.

“HOW IT STARTED AND HOW IT HAS DEVELOPED”

Initially, in 2008 we began teaching classes at "Nazca Digital" the most important company in the country at that time in digital education, with a course that John Higuera designed from the beginning and although at that time the subject was very incipient in Colombia, they dedicated themselves to innovate with this education for 2 years and from there several courses on the subject were opened in other educational institutions such as the Javeriana in 2010.

Then they assigned their own course to Higuera Studios to precisely develop the theme from the academy and from there taking them to the current industry, the course is more oriented from praxis, obviously the chair but learning with projects in real-time. Then they invited us to design a more creative course for the Universidad de la Sabana where they have an audiovisual program with multimedia and where you can go much more artistic. And later they invited him to design the course for their master's degree where they are all systems engineers a little more advanced in the subject for engineers with more advanced subjects because they are engineers so they could demand more programming things because of their previous education. We have taught 3 development diplomas at our expense in addition to the masters and undergraduate courses taught at the National.
